You Need Photo Editing Software

There will be times when just any image from the Internet won’t suit your needs. This is when photo editing software comes in handy.

With editing software you can resize, crop, and alter any picture you download, or use from your personal photo files for use on your website. You may want to add a caption to your photos, or even overlay other photos onto the canvas. All this can be done with a photo editor and once finished you simply upload it to your website using your FTP Program.

Though you may eventually pay for a better program, there is a decent, no-frills, editing software available for free.

Picasa 3 is a no cost download available from Google and should satisfy virtually all of your editing requirements that will arise, as you develop your website.

We were honestly surprised at the features offered in Picasa 3. Though we use an editing software program purchased for slightly less than $100, Picasa 3 is more than capable of handling about 99% of our needs and we’re a bit upset this wasn’t released years ago, as it would have saved us some money.
