WPBox.info – No Need To Buy What Is Easily Found For Free

WordPress, as most people are aware, is an open source coding software that allows users to install free themes and plugins for their websites. As part of the WordPress “free” coding is the ability for anyone to download the coding and then give it away, modify it, combine it, and even sell it, if they can.

As has been tried in the past, someone has decided to download hundreds of plugins and themes, offering to sell them for, as of this writing, $47. WPBox claims to be worth $97, but I have a hard time swallowing either number. WPBox claims that it is worth the price because what you want to do, either with a theme or a plugin can be more easily found when you purchase these freebies in their packaged bundle.

The fact is, going to WordPress.org and doing a search, or doing a Google search for “free WordPress themes,” will bring up anything you will find in WPBox and more. You will also get ratings from people who have used the plugin, or theme.

Let’s say you want a plugin for SEO improvement. Go to WordPress.org and perform a search using “SEO” as the keyword. It’s that simple. Why anyone would pay $47 for someone to simply place hundreds of these things in a downloadable folder all at once is beyond me. Newbies are likely the only ones who might buy it and once they discover their mistake may be out of luck in getting their money back if they aren’t satisfied.

WPBox does not provide any support for the downloads. You are simply provided a link to the respective programs’ website (the developer of the free download) from your WordPress dashboard panel after it is installed – which is standard on any WP program.

The seller has chosen to use Paypal as a direct form of payment for WPBox. Realize that Paypal does not give refunds for digital downloads if you decide that you wasted your money.

WPBox might be worth about $5.00 if you wanted to save a few keystrokes, but $47.00 to get a bunch of things that are 100% free and easily found anyway?

I don’t think so. Save your money.
