Joe Richey’s Internet Paycheck… Scam?
Don’t get scammed. Don’t be fooled by the Internet Paycheck System you may have seen broadcast on TV, in an infomercial.
For many, these are desperate times as they find themselves out of work and in debt. Internet Paycheck System is a dubious program being offered by the same Joe Richey who apparently screwed so many out of money with his SwapSellTrade System. Some purchasers of that program say that their complaints were submitted to the Attorney Generals in numerous states. Now Joe seems to be trying a different route with his Internet Paycheck “system.”
Personally, I wouldn’t buy a life vest from this guy if my boat was sinking. While flipping through channels on my television a few minutes ago, I came across Joe Richey selling another “product.” His latest bullshit is telling people that they can make thousands of dollars on the Internet while they sleep. I call it what it is (bullshit) because I don’t like people who prey on others who are desperately seeking a way to save their possessions and family from ruin. Richey states he will send you all the info and even provide you with 10 free websites. Before you think this is a good deal, check out Joe’s history and ask yourself if everyone is lying about him and I suggest you read all those reports. I mean it. Take 15 minutes to read all the complaints and how he conducts business. People have been seriously damaged by his previous “systems.”
I’ve done a few of these reviews and they are all the same when it comes to these TV commercials where an Internet Marketer is promising people wealth and freedom from debt – with an “easy” program they created that reveals “secrets.” They prey on those who are seeking an easy way to wealth that doesn’t exist, or are just so desperate they want to believe that a slug is offering everyone the “secret” to getting rich.
People, I’ve been doing this a long time. When somebody tells you they are offering their “secret” system to make you rich out of the goodness of their heart because they want everyone to be millionaires – they are full of CRAP. Especially if they tell you that it is “easy” and can be accomplished quickly with only a few clicks. If I had a “system” that could make me rich overnight, I wouldn’t tell everyone about it. I do, however, tell people they can make money if they are willing to put in the time and work required – and I don’t “upsell” additional items for additional fees.
What the low-life Internet marketers want, is for you to buy their “program” so that they become rich by continuing to sell you more programs, or “upgrades.” The initial purchase price is only the tip of the iceberg. They then follow up with other programs and sales pitches for some special membership to their “club” that they say will “improve” your chances of success.
There is a big difference between those selling knowledge and those selling pipe dreams of overnight success on the Internet.
Anyone remember a program called Jeff Paul’s Shortcut To Internet Millions? That was a similar offer that took people’s money and didn’t deliver. I also warned everyone about Jeff Paul when his commercials started running on television. Last I heard, J.P. is under investigation and is facing a slew of charges for fraud.
Well, I see nothing different in the offer being made by Joe Richey with the exception being that his TV presence is absolutely terrible. He reads poorly off his script cards, as his eyes can be easily seen moving back and forth – not good, when his “interview” by the big tittied blond is supposed to be off-the-cuff. He is unnaturally robotic as he reads, with inflections placed on the wrong word or syllable, while his hands try to accentuate his sales pitch unsuccessfully. Then there is that big boobed blond who interviews him and the “success stories.” I guess Joe didn’t want to spend the money for the extra set of tits Jeff Paul used when he had two sex kittens selling his product (SEE UPDATE BELOW). Still, sex sells and Joe wouldn’t be able to sell anything if it was just his face and body trying to convince people to trust him.
All things considered, Joe Richey created a low budget sales pitch. However, with all interviews taking place in a narrow frame using a nice backdrop and the blond, it might appear to some as a decent infomercial. In fact, it is probably one of the cheapest made with the screen flashing images of cars and such when needed, as the “success stories” talked about what they bought with their money. Even though it is one of the cheapest made by an Internet Marketer, it may still be good enough to convince idiots that they can make thousands and thousands of dollars “while they sleep.”
So, let’s get to Joe Richey’s Internet Paycheck. I’ll make this quick because that is all the time his crap is worth. His secrets aren’t secrets. He’ll tell you that you need to build websites. He’ll try to sell you on his other offers. He’ll tell you how you need to get visitors to your websites. As other Internet posters have reported, you will be bombarded with emails for additional offers to buy something else of his. You may be offered the ability to “upgrade” for more money, or purchase a membership that will give you some kind of discount to his other offers.
One can only wonder if this isn’t just a washed and rinsed version of his “SwapSellTrade” crap that he pushed until too many people started flooding the Internet with reports of “Ripoff.” It seems with SST, Joe Ritchey was just acting as a middleman to a real wholesale company that dealt with the worst of Chinese knockoff items (some believe both companies – Joe’s and the wholesaler, Kent’s Trading, to be tied together). The advertisements of the wholesale products didn’t match what was received, such as “Sterling silver toe rings” being no more than plastic junk jewelry painted silver. This got more than a few people angry when they ordered falsely described items in bulk and received things that they could not resell for a profit, or at all. And reselling was his “system” that was supposed to make people rich.
Oh, his 10 free websites? These are called “cookie-cutters.” He isn’t going to build your websites for you. You’ll have to do that yourself and during the process you will learn nothing about coding. They will look like crap and it is doubtful you will make money with them. You see, he isn’t giving you anything of real value. Everyone starts with a website. It is how we make it look, the content we put into it, the visitors we get, and the money it makes us that gives it value. There is no value in a cookie cutter website.
The products he promises to have on those websites. Likely, they are his own. Probably the same garbage he was selling with his “swap” system. Sure, you can keep the websites if you return his product (wonder what hoops you have to go through to do that and if your money will actually be refunded – one of the things Jeff Paul would fail to do). He won’t have to pay the cost for maintaining them on the Internet and his products that you might actually sell occasionally will still make him money.
I know. Internet money may sound easy and this guy, Joe Richey, may make it seem like everyone is living like the rich without having to work at it, but the truth is nothing comes easy and even Internet money requires work to get it. Personally, I make money on the Internet, but it took years and a lot of help from honest programs that guided me along the way, to get to where I am today – and I never ripped off anyone along the way.
The money I’ve made is by earning commissions from items I sell from legitimate companies like Dell, Amazon, eBay and hundreds of others. An Internet Marketer, like Richey, makes his money by selling his “system.” Once he sells you that, you make him more money on anything additional he can talk you into buying. He will have your email and you’ll be pounded with sales pitches.
Don’t be fooled by Joe Richey’s Internet Paycheck System. They only one who will be making money is Joe Richey when he sells you his empty promises and screws you out of your hard earned cash.
Are there any legitimate systems out there? Certainly, but like I said legitimate ones require a little work:
If you have no understanding of the Internet or how to get a website installed that can earn you money, there are two basic teaching programs that will guide you.
Laura Burke’s can be found HERE. She is honest and trustworthy. Hers is a teaching program that is a little more involved in the SEO aspect of creating websites than my own program. Cost $97.
My own teaching program can be downloaded HERE. It is a basic program that shows you how to become a webmaster, get your own website running, and becoming an affiliate to legitimate companies that pay you commissions. Cost $47
UPDATE 7/30/10:
Just caught his latest commercial today. Did Joe Richey read this article? Some of the commercial seems to have been revamped. I even see that during one segment he added the extra set of big titties by having another sex kitten in the commercial selling his product.
