IncomeAtHomeTV.com – Another Make Money Scam?

Whenever we see a commercial on television that tells people they can make money with no real explanation of the program they are offering, it’s time to take a closer look. In this case, we didn’t have to look that closely at IncomeAtHomeTV to realize it is nothing more than a lead generation service for other scam artists.

As most suckers found out with CrazyFox (another lead generating website that promised people they could make money), what they received were phone calls and spam mail from companies trying to sell them get-rich-quick schemes.

IncomeAtHomeTV seems to be nothing more than a “rinse and repeat” type of site that mimics CrazyFox.

Let me be blunt…

Most fools will arrive at IncomeAtHomeTV.com (which is actually redirected to a url address of http://roitv.theonlinebusiness.com/goland453/ROITIV-IAHtv-453) and fill out the information form without reading anything more than the “testimonials” from people who say their money problems have been solved. Once they fill out that form (which includes a “must” for your telephone number) they will assuredly get email spam and nuisance phone calls from people trying to sell them a “money making business opportunity.”

How do I know this?

Because I bothered to read the Privacy Policy – something they know 99% of people who visit the site never do.

Interesting stuff in that Privacy Policy. Among the gems:

The Company shares your personal information with a Business Opportunity Representative (the “Representative”) who will contact you in order to discuss the Business Opportunity information you requested. The Representative is not an employee of the Company, but rather an independent business owner with whom the Company will share your personal information in order for the Representative to contact you ONLY in regards to the Business Opportunity you expressed interest in.

The Company may also resell, share, or disclose your personal information to carefully selected third parties.

You agree to receive a newsletter from the Company, or from the Company on behalf of a carefully selected source, as well as any other Company selected offers or offers sent by the Company on behalf of a third party.

What this should tell you, if you haven’t figured it out, is that all the information you are supplying is passed along to other companies (likely hundreds) and your email address, phone number, and personal information can be sold to anyone they wish. This means you will soon be getting garbage emails, solicitation phone calls, and junk mail for years to come.

Do yourself a favor. Avoid IncomeAtHomeTV. You’ll save yourself money and aggravation.
