How to promote my affiliate link?

I have an work at home business that I found online and I’m trying to find the best places to promote my business and get people to buy my product and sign in.
I want you to tell me what works best for you. I have tried many things like adwords, adbrite and usfreeads. But I’m not getting more customers.
I need tons of targeted traffic that are willing to buy!
And please no traffic exchange or safelist or buying traffic. That is bull**** so give me something I can really use.

ya…good question….
about a month before i also asked the same question in the yahoo answers .. i got about some 14 answers… but 13 of them are scam…
their are many methods and no “one” method is the best. It is actually a combination of many that are needed to promote a link. Submit articles to create backlinks, drop links on social networks and forums, do some cheap advertising (like USFreeAds, etc.).
