Higher unemployment and recessions appear to be here to stay for the immediate and distant future. Affiliate marketing with websites can save many.

The question is, will the Internet and work-at-home business opportunities; affiliate marketing, direct sales, MLM, be the most viable solution to those looking to earn income in this new era? Will it be the answer for the hundreds of thousands unemployed/underemployed workers with families who are in debt? Can it save them from the recession that we are told is over, but the middle-class family sees no sign of relief from?

Many people are looking fruitlessly for a job with a new employer, but it would appear many people be looking to find that viable home business opportunity in order to manifest financial relief. At the very least, to supplement their income with extra cash from their own websites and affiliate marketing revenue.

I occasionally receive an email from a stranger, or even have direct contact with acquaintances who tell me that making money with websites is [insert expletive].

While certainly such is not true and reflects their frustration in not finding a “real job,” as they refer to some business that might lay them off again, it demonstrates that many people will pass up an opportunity to try and succeed at something for themselves.

In the below CNN article, it talks of how 7% (or greater) unemployment will be here for quite some time, because what it takes to make up for the jobs that have been permanently lost can’t possibly be recovered quickly – especially when you factor in the growing demand of new adults looking for jobs. And what I found more intriguing is the statement that there will be multiple recessions in the coming years. See: CNN Recession Report

Instead, people who are out of work and quickly eating through any savings they might have are sitting at home, collecting unemployment checks they can’t survive on, and bemoaning the fact that they can’t make any money.

Instead of starting now, while they have the free time and the resources to prevent the doom of a sheriff knocking on their door with an eviction notice, or having their vehicle towed away in the middle of the night by a repo man, they will ignore the fact that Internet money can be made, if they are willing to work for it.

Well those persons, like others can run, but it would appear from the CNN article they won’t be able to hide, because home business website opportunities may be the most viable relief option from projected long-term, high unemployment, and the multiple coming recessions.
