Are You Ready To Work At Building A Website Business?

You Are Ready To Make Internet Money If:

You Are Willing To Work At Building A Business Facing Stiff Competition.

If you go into it as a hobby, where you think only spending an hour each week is going to produce a mailbox stuffed with checks from companies paying you, stop reading. As I tell my classroom students before I give the first lesson, “If you paid money thinking I’m going to give you a magic bullet that earns you massive amounts of income for doing nothing but putting a website on the Internet, take back your check and go home now.”

Understand that if you are happy just earning enough every year to cover the cost of running your website, then you should choose a free blogger website and use it for what it is good for – making a few pennies from a few people who might find it and click an AdSense ad. I’m not being sarcastic when I say “a few pennies,” either. Those free websites are restricted from being used by many of the best companies offering affiliate programs.

However, if you want to make real money – serious cash – then you want to make your Internet venture building websites and becoming an Affiliate Marketer a business. That business requires work and a lot of time in the beginning. It means learning how to become a true webmaster and understanding that those “web builder” programs using drag and drop templates to make things simple are overcharging customers for that service. What costs a webmaster, who knows how to build and host websites, $10 a month can cost the clueless over $100 each month, if they want to upgrade to a better website with all the bells and whistles using that “simple” service.

Another fact: The competition is increasing as more and more people discover the cash generating opportunity of building websites and affiliate marketing. Millions of new website names are registered monthly, as people try to make money. Though 95% of them won’t last more than a month, as they realize the false promise of “easy money with a few clicks” isn’t true and that it involves work, there are still enough remaining who will put in a little more effort than others.

To beat all of them you must approach your business with a work schedule and a desire to succeed. You must be willing to be better than the competition by putting in more of an effort than they are and outlasting them. While some of them may try past the first month, very few survive past the first year, leaving the rest of us to continually make more money in our Internet business.

If this sounds like something you can do – survive and build a business, then you may want to pursue looking into building websites and affiliate marketing.
